Group Podcast
Hopefully you have seen how easy it is to create a podcast to use in your classroom. Today we are going to work on a podcast as a group and publish it by the end of class tonight.
Here are the requirements:
1. Work with at least 1 other person.
2. Needs to be at least 2 minutes long but no longer than 5 minutes.
3. Needs to include some readings from the book.
3. Needs to include introduction and closing music. Check out these 4 sites for getting music.
Jamendo
Freesound
Garageband – not the Apple application
Magnatunes
They allow you to use their music as long as you give them credit, either on the podcast itself or on the blog post.
4. Needs to include sound effects.
Findsounds.com
5. Your entire group needs to be featured on the broadcast.
6. You podcast needs to be completed and uploaded to each member’s blog.

Hi Lance,
I’ve completed my first podcast on Audacity. I exported it as a MP3 file. I will need some help getting it onto my blogsite! Can you refresh my memory as to what we downloaded last week in reference to me to saving this podcast on my computer? I’m the one without a MAC. Thanks.
